Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Production Print Solutions Analyst in Irvine to partner with the sales team, perform discovery calls, and recommend color-driven printing solutions. You will deliver advanced technical support for networked devices, software/servers, and professional services.

You will engage in on-site visits, customer trainings, and RFP responses, with travel up to 70%. This role requires color expertise, strong communication, and the ability to drive professional services

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of related experience in Large Format, office and production environments.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Quark Xpress, and color composition tools.
• Proficiency with Postscript/PDF handling tools such as Acrobat Distiller.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% with valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to evaluate prospects, shape account strategy and participate in sales calls.
• Participate in on-site customer visits for meetings, surveys and inspections.
• Meet with customer IT staff as a technical advisor.
• Collaborate on RFP responses and provide project management support for large, complex solutions.

About the Role

Canon seeks a self motivated analyst with print production experience. You will partner with our sales team to conduct discovery calls and recommend solutions based on customer needs. If you have color expertise with excellent customer follow up, we want to hear from you!

Responsible for providing advanced technical advice, counsel and expertise in direct support of securing sales of networked printing devices as well as associated software/servers and professional and consulting services. Provide technical support in sales presentations, customer trainings, and the delivery of professional services.

Your Impact

• Works with the sales team with the evaluation of prospective customers, account strategy, and possible enterprise printing applications solutions; and then participate in sales calls.
• Participates in on-site visits to customers for meetings, surveys and inspections.
• Meets with customer IT staff as technical advisor.
• Collaborates on RFP responses and provides on-going project management support on large, complex, diverse and challenging solution architecting and implementation.
• Collaborates on the installation and integration of products and product applications.
• Responsible for generating professional services revenue streams independent of equipment and software sales, conducting customer training classes, and providing installation and integration direction of advanced Color Solutions.

About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 3 to 5 years of related experience.
• Relevant business experience relating to printing pre-sales/post- sales support in Large Format, office and production environments.
• Understand and be comfortable in using the Adobe Creative Suite product, Quark Xpress and/or other standard Color composition and management tools and respective file formats (JPEG, TIFF. EPS, PDF).
• Able to use and operate Postscript/PDF file handling tools- Acrobat Pro Distiller, etc.
• Extensive travel is required, up to 70% with overnight stays (valid drivers' license and acceptable driving record necessary). Certain minimum auto insurance coverages are required.
• Certified Color Management Professional Master; Additional Datastream knowledge – AFP, VIPP, PPML and LCDS/Metacode a plus.
• Understanding of complex systems solutions, integration and networking in Windows, UNIX & Macintosh environments. Responsible for providing post-sales 24/7 after hours support and implementation services.

We are providing the anticipated base salary range for this role: $76,150-$114,040 annually.

This role is eligible for incentive compensation under the terms of an applicable plan and/or policy.

This role is also eligible for a transportation allowance.
