Ajin Georgia is seeking a Production Press Supervisor (Salaried) in Statesboro, GA. The role oversees production requirements, enforces safety and quality controls, and drives continuous improvement across teams.

Strong leadership and the ability to analyze production metrics are essential to manage staffing, attendance, and daily targets. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or substantial manufacturing experience, with a focus on safety, training, and process optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years manufacturing experience.
• Experience in supervising multiple groups of employees.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to analyze production metrics (SPM, Die Change Duration, line O/T, and Press operation efficiency).
• Leadership ability to multitask in a production goal‑oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all production requirements in assigned areas.
• Safety, training and certification of team members.
• Ensure quality controls are followed.
• Utilize “Constant Improvement” philosophy in daily management.
• Tracking and reporting of daily metrics.
• Leadership must target safety first, 3C & 5S principles of manufacturing.
• Assign daily production requirements and adjust manning as needed.
• Review daily absences/tardiness/non-shift completion to ensure adherence of company’s progressive disciplinary policy.
• Receive daily production order requirements and review inventory targets to ensure completion of production requirements.
• Review reports of all downtimes, quality issues, perform cause analysis and implement countermeasures.
• Monitor inventory levels of critical supply items (rolled metal coil, pallets, press consumables).
• Ensure equipment inspections are conducted and either recalibrated or repaired.
• Manage team leaders to check press machine settings, lubrication, leaks, and moving area upkeep.
• All other support activities outlined by production manager or plant manager.
