Bobcat in Gwinner, ND is currently hiring for a number of production positions. Below are additional details regarding the positions available.

Role & Responsibilities

Assembly

• Assembles product, partially or completely, positioning parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints, diagrams, layouts, or oral instruction.

Material Handler

• Operates industrial truck equipment with lifting devices to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, and material in warehouse, storage, yard, or factory.
• Supplies the assembly lines with the materials needed to perform their job.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.

Welder

• Weld metal components of products as specified by layout, blueprints, diagrams, work orders, weld procedures, or oral instructions, using electric arc‑welding equipment.

Fabrication Operator

• Sets up and operates power press and assists in the operation of fabrication equipment (brake, shear, lasers) to trim, punch, shape, notch, draw, or crimp metal components.

Other Duties

• Keeps work area clean, orderly and maintain 5S schedule.
• Required to fill out daily production sheets as well as the 5S metric boards for their specific cell.
• Required to correctly identify and label parts for their specific area with correct quantity and location.
• Assists in the instruction and training of others as requested by supervisor.
• Completes preventative maintenance and other duties as directed by Total Production Maintenance.

Job Requirements

• Work experience 0‑2 years or more, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Travel required: less than 10%.
• Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly; must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time to meet build requirements; must possess the ability to read build sheets and blueprints.
• Ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or GED.
• Job specific skills, techniques and safe work and equipment operating practices are learned through on‑the‑job and classroom training.
• General instructions are given on recurring duties, operations and assignments; detailed instructions are given on new duties, operations and assignments.
• Overall level of work is defined as medium duty. Employees are expected to exert 21 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 11 to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. (heavy duty levels defined).
