Job summary

Westlake in Lake Charles, LA is seeking an analyst to coordinate movement between products and departments to meet customer specifications and production demands.

You will communicate with lab, operations, shipping, and logistics; review orders and inventories; monitor SAP postings; and serve as ISO Coordinator, with backup to Production Planning.

Required: at least 1 year in operations, logistics, or quality control; strong communication; a technical degree; SAP and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of operations, logistics, or quality control experience in various Derivatives and Chlor-Alkali operating units preferred.
• Must be a strong communicator and able to manage complexity.
• Technical degree and SAP experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with laboratory, operations, shipping, corporate planners and logistics for product clearances, transfers, and shipments.
• Coordinate activities of operators relating to operating mode, product grades, and production quantities.
• Review final product tank clearances to ensure customer specifications are met.
• Review scheduled orders, maintain production rollouts and inventories to meet shipment demands.
• Prepare product inventory for End of Month reconciliation and closing.
• Monitor product transfers for billing; coordinate with Records Dept for operations reporting.
• Perform SQC reports quarterly and annually.
• Perform and monitor all production postings and product movements in SAP.
• Participate in planning major maintenance activities to coordinate downtime.
• Facilitate resolution of customer complaints.
• Serve as ISO Coordinator.
• Serve as back-up to the Superintendent-Production, Planning.
