Job summary

ELANTAS North America in Schenectady, NY is seeking a Production Planner to manage and optimize our production schedules on-site. You will coordinate the flow of materials, parts and assemblies to ensure timely manufacturing.

The ideal candidate has at least five years’ experience in production scheduling, strong SAP MM and PP knowledge, and APICS CPIM is preferred. You will work with Sales, Customer Service and Operations to confirm delivery dates and maintain master data for the business

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management is a plus.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in production scheduling and processes required.
• APICS CPIM is preferred but not required.
• Strong SAP MM and PP knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend standard manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate flow of materials and work across departments.
• Analyze and adjust production schedules to meet needs.
• Communicate potential late shipments to Customer Service.
• Maintain master data for business systems.
• Assist Sales and Customer Service with delivery dates.
• Run daily production planning downloads and SAP confirmations.
