Take the lead in driving production for the powerful megawatt generators that keep critical industries and communities running. As a Production Planner at our Oshkosh facility, you will turn complex manufacturing schedules into seamless operations on a massive scale.
The Production Planner II is responsible for assisting to improve customer service levels (on time delivery) and working capital (inventory turns). This role is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to daily and weekly production schedules including manpower scheduling. Duties include reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules, conferring with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates, monitoring inventory levels, and solving production problems.
