You will manage MRP parameters, build advanced Excel tools, and balance capacity across die casting, CNC, finishing, and assembly to optimize throughput.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production or materials planning in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Mastery of MRP parameters, work order sequencing, routings, and inventory logic.
• Advanced Excel capabilities (multi-tab models, dynamic arrays, complex conditional formulas, data links).
• Experience in aerospace, medical device, precision machining, or die casting is ideal.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily MRP outputs, action messages, and demand shifts to keep shop schedules 100% accurate.
• Build, tune, and maintain dynamic Excel tools that turn raw ERP data into ranked priority lists for shop-floor leads.
• Balance capacity across die casting, CNC machining, finishing, and assembly lines to prevent bottlenecks.
• Execute strategic build-ahead strategies to stay ahead of ship dates without overloading constraint stations.
• Support high-profile aerospace program ramps and facility transfers by modeling equipment, headcount, and throughput needs.

Salary Pay Range – top and bottom range and Other Compensation:

The salary range for this position is expected to be between $85,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year, depending on geographic location, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire

FLSA Status: Exempt

Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm

About the Role:

Are you a data-obsessed scheduler who loves turning complex, noisy demand into a smooth, highly effective daily manufacturing schedule?

We are a precision aerospace manufacturer that is expanding, and we need a sharp Production Planner who thrives on MRP parameters, complex spreadsheet modeling, and capacity optimization. You will sit at the center of our operation, taking raw customer demand, netting it against inventory, and dictating exactly what our machining, die casting, and finishing operations build each day.
