Position Summary
Prepares and schedules customer product processing and shipping. Coordinates with customers regarding all stages of scheduling, processing, and shipping. Assists in preparing processing documentation.
What You'll Do as a Production Planner
- Determine processing priorities by maintaining a master database of customer deliveries, inventories, and shipments, planning schedules considering customer requirements, quality standards, and resource availability.
- Publish processing schedules with detailed instructions and supporting documentation.
- Maintain inventory databases and assist in preparing process run documentation and Certificates of Processing.
- Complete post-process files, including reading dosimeters and creating certificates.
- Verify dosimetry programs daily and develop product palletization specifications.
- Assist in resolving process discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintain process schedule continuity by monitoring runs and inventories, revising schedules as needed.
- Resolve scheduling issues through effective communication with customers and internal staff.
- Provide timely processing and shipping status updates to customers.
- Contribute to accurate process cycle time estimations and price quotations by maintaining historical data.
- Promote safe working behaviors and ensure safety training needs are met.
- Communicate professionally and courteously, providing timely responses and assistance.
- Maintain professional skills through workshops, publications, and professional societies.
- Protect confidential information appropriately.
- Report unsafe conditions and contribute to a safe and clean work environment.

- Perform other duties as assigned, supporting management directives and compliance with GMP and Lean principles.
Required Skills, Experience, and Abilities
- Associate degree in a related field with 2 years’ experience or 4 years’ experience.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in sterilization operations.
- Effective communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently under general guidelines.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills, with proficiency in basic math.
- Ability to adapt to changing duties and influence others positively.
- Normal hearing range to detect alarms and signals.
- Decision-making skills based on multi-disciplinary knowledge.
