Modern Machining Solutions Inc. in Stafford, VA, is seeking a highly analytical Production Planner to convert customer demand, materials availability, ERP data, and capacity into executable schedules.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, inventory, engineering and quality to improve readiness, reporting and delivery performance. The role requires 2+ years in production planning and MRP, advanced Excel and ERP experience, and a BA/BS in engineering.

Formación

• 2+ years of production planning, MRP, and scheduling experience in an assembly-line operation.
• Advanced Excel with pivot tables, lookups, formulas and data analysis.
• ERP experience with strong understanding of MRP and production scheduling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (manufacturing, industrial, electrical, mechanical or similar).
• Strong analytical accuracy, organization, and cross-functional communication.
• Experience in Aerospace/Defense or other regulated industries such as med devices or automotive manufacturing.
• Familiar with Power BI.
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central is highly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Own production schedules aligned with customer orders, forecasts, inventory, material readiness, and capacity.
• Prepare dashboards and reports for production planning, capacity, procurement, and inventory decisions.
• Create, release, maintain, and monitor ERP manufacturing work orders and schedule attainment.
• Identify material shortages and coordinate recovery plans with Procurement, Inventory, Production, Engineering, and Quality.
• Maintain BOMs, routings, and planning parameters; monitor consumption, output, and order performance.
• Resolve cross-functional scheduling and production issues while adhering to planning and operational procedures.

Salary Range: $90,000–$120,000 base, depending on experience

Minimum Requirements

• 2+ years of production planning, MRP, and scheduling experience in an assembly-line operation. Electro-mechanical assembly
• Advanced Microsoft Excel: pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and analysis of production and inventory data.
• ERP experience and strong understanding of MRP and production scheduling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is a MUST-- manufacturing, industrial, electrical, mechanical or similar(not IT)
