Job summary

CANPACK Group in the United States (Indiana) is seeking a Production Planner to organize production scheduling and inventory planning. You will analyze demand, manage raw materials, and coordinate intercompany purchases under the Production Planning Manager, ensuring on-time delivery and optimal stock levels.

The role requires an Associate's degree in Supply Chain/Business Logistics, SAP experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with MS Office/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Advise and support Production Manager to effectively manage stock levels in preparation of seasonal demand to maximize product sales.
• Responsible for scheduling production lines to meet customer and forecasted demands.
• Plan machine schedules yearly, quarterly, monthly, and weekly.
• Manage stock effectively to meet seasonal demands.
• Maintain high level of inventory accuracy.
• Communicate the planning of production and/or stoppage of production lines to management.
• Assist planning team to organize timely delivery of goods to customers.
• Receive customer/work orders and ensure their completion using appropriate internal procedures.
• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of systems, including performing internal audits training as required.
• Receive /review orders and ensure their completion using appropriate internal procedures.
• Manage capacity planning for production lines.
• Effective ly use SAP and computerized systems.
• Maintain good relationships with cross-functional departments.
• Assist with ensuring a high level of production schedule attainment.
• Perform any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role.
