MM Packaging Clayton is seeking a Carton Planner to develop and manage production schedules, coordinating with Customer Service, Production, Purchasing and Shipping to meet customer needs.

You will monitor inventory, address shortages, and analyze data to identify efficiency improvements while supporting continuous improvement initiatives in scheduling and operations. A high school diploma is required, with preferred higher education and ERP proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain or manufacturing helpful.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving and communication abilities.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand and capacity.

Position Summary

The Carton Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating carton production activities to ensure customer requirements are met while maximizing manufacturing efficiency. This role works closely with Customer Service, Production, Purchasing, and Shipping teams to maintain production schedules, monitor inventory levels, and support on-time delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand and manufacturing capacity.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure materials and resources are available for scheduled production.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate potential shortages or delays.
• Track order progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet customer expectations.
• Analyze planning and production data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to scheduling, inventory management, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate information within ERP and planning systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
