Job summary

FXI in Longview, Washington, is seeking an assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble, pack, load and fabricate parts, working from work orders to match customer specifications.

Ideal candidates can read measuring devices, lift 50 lbs, stand for 8 hours and follow safety rules. We offer excellent benefits and a starting wage of $17.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Wrap, bale, package fabricated parts per specifications.
• Read and follow work orders to apply adhesive and assemble parts.
• Follow written/verbal instructions and safety guidelines.
• Verify conformance to specifications using a tape measure.
• Follow direction from Group Leads and maintain 5S in area.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Purpose

Assembles, packs, loads, fabricates parts and /or unloads materials

Responsibilities

Essential Duties

• Specific tasks may include: wrapping, baling, packaging, press operation, sewing, and housekeeping__
• Reads and understands work orders to accurately apply adhesive, assemble and pack fabricated parts according to customer specifications
• Understands and follows written and/or verbal instructions regarding customer specifications
• Verifies conformance to specifications using a tape measure.
• Understands and follows written and/or verbal direction from Group Leads
• Maintains daily 5s in general area of responsibility
• Follow 5s and safety policies and procedures
