Job summary

MS Companies is seeking a Production Operator for the 1st shift in Grand Rapids, MI. This temp-to-hire role supports automotive manufacturing operations, with overtime and a pay rate of $17 per hour.

The successful candidate will assist with moving materials, assembling parts, reading work instructions, and maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment. On-site manufacturing setting with opportunities for permanent placement based on performance.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, including understanding and following detailed verbal instructions
• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, production, or automotive experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing, warehouse, and production operations within customer facilities
• Assist with moving materials, products, and inventory throughout the worksite
• Assemble, sort, inspect, and/or package parts using hand tools, fixtures, or equipment as needed
• Read and follow work instructions, customer orders, and production specifications
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Maintain consistent attendance and arrive on time as scheduled
• Adhere to all company policies, client requirements, and safety regulations
• Maintain productivity and accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
