Meg2, Llc is seeking a Production Operator for our Troy, IN plant. The role follows a 12-hour rotating Dupont schedule with overtime every two weeks and a $1/hr night shift differential. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

You will load/unload hazardous materials, perform daily material handling, inventory, and documentation, while maintaining housekeeping and following safety and quality policies.

Formación

• No prior experience required, but reading, writing and completing training is essential.
• Basic Math skills are required (addition, subtraction, simple fractions).
• Must have a valid Driver's license and be able to pass background and drug tests.

Responsabilidades

• Load/unload hazardous materials from tankers, box vans, railcars and other containers.
• Daily material handling: loading/unloading transportation vessels.
• Plant housekeeping: cleaning, painting, lawn maintenance.
• Conduct physical inventory and complete required documents.
• Collect samples and assist plant Operations staff as instructed.
• Follow EHS&S mission and RCRA Hazwaste job duties matrix.
• Meet fit-for-duty requirements and adhere to quality policy.

Description

MEG 2 is a custom chemical processor with expertise in various distillation technologies, pastillation, blending, reaction chemistry purification and heat transfer fluids.

We are currently looking for dependable Production Operators in our Troy, IN plant. This position is a 12 hr rotating dupont schedule with built in Overtime every 2 weeks plus a night shift differential of $1/hr!!! We are also offering a SIGN-ON BONUS of $3,000!!!!!

What is a Production Operator?

A Production Operator is responsible for loading/unloading hazardous materials from and onto tank trucks, box vans, railcars, and other shipping containers.

What do I have to do?

• Daily involvement with material handling activities such as loading and unloading tankers, box vans, and other transportation vessels.
• Plant housekeeping activities including but not limited to cleaning, painting, and lawn maintenance (mowing/weed eating).
• Conducting physical inventory
• Complete documents
• Collect samples
• Assist plant Operations personnel as instructed.
• Abide by the principles in the EHS&S mission statement.
• Responsibilities and training outlined in the RCRA Hazwaste Job Duties Matrix
• Pass the fit for duty requirements
• Abide by MEG 2’s quality policy.

Requirements

Do I have to have experience?

No previous experience required, however, you must be able to effectively read, write, and understand and complete required training for specific projects or processes. Basic Math skills are also required (e.g. addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, basic fractions, and proportions). Must have a valid Driver's license and be able to pass a background check and drug test. Must be able to climb stairs, use a ladder, and lift 60 pounds.
