Essential Responsibilities

• Prepare and make charges according to established guidelines and instructions.
• Accurately weigh and measure raw materials and remelt using scales
• Maintain proper documentation and records associated with charge maker.
• Operate forklifts and transfer charges to the appropriate melting stations.
• Adhere to production and quality standards to ensure consistent output.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any problems that occur during the charge-making process.
• Collaborate with the foundry foreperson/lead person to meet production goals.
• Participate in cross-training initiatives to acquire additional skills in other positions or departments.
