Job summary

Nippon Paint Automotive Americas Inc. (NPAA) 2nd shift positions are open for production operators. You will follow SOPs, operate filling lines and forklift, label containers, and participate in continuous improvement efforts while maintaining safety and quality in a fast-paced facility.

Qualified applicants will work with SAP, MS Access, and MS Office to process orders, while contributing to a clean, compliant production environment and adherence to NPAA standards.

• Operates production equipment and monitors batch processes.
• Maintains clean and organized work area and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follows SOPs and safety policies in every task.
• Operates equipment to fill batches and label containers.
• Moves materials using forklift and handles waste per procedures.
• Identifies off-quality items and reports deviations for corrective action.
• Uses SAP, MS Access, and MS Office to process orders in SAP-based workflows.
• Maintains equipment and housekeeping in production areas.

THIS POSITION IS FOR 2ND SHIFT EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Follows and Adheres to Company Standard Operating Procedures, batch tickets, and process sheets.
• Follows and Adheres to Company Safety Policies
• Operate equipment used to fill batches: Automated Pail Filling Room, scales/load cells, mixers, filling pumps, filling machines, etc.
• Fill finished goods into proper containers per customer specific IDIOS and make container labels.
• Operate forklift to move materials.
• Participate on improvement teams and submit ideas.
• Identifies potential off-quality products during the process and initiates appropriate corrective actions through established company abnormal process.
• Utilizes company IT equipment such as SAP, Microsoft Access Database, & Microsoft Office to complete orders in the SPP process.
• Maintains housekeeping within the production areas.
• Maintains all equipment.
• Perform job activities in Operations areas outside of SPP as required.
• Move waste from generation point to 90-day Storage Area
• Properly close and label waste containers using NPAA procedures
