Job summary

3M in New Ulm, MN is seeking a Production Operator to join a team that keeps our manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently. You will follow SOPs, operate production equipment, and help ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products.

The role offers structured schedules, benefits starting day one, and opportunities to grow within a climate-controlled setting. Prior manufacturing knowledge is a plus, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work 8–12 hours per day.
• Able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Completion of a job-related readiness assessment.
• Able to lift/carry heavy materials.
• Able to follow written and verbal directions from SOPs and coaching.
• Able to wear PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe work behaviors and watch for hazards.
• Follow SOPs to produce high-quality products.
• Operate automated production equipment and meet performance goals.
• Monitor processes, load materials, and perform quality inspections.
• Create a positive, inclusive work environment.
• Use computer controls to run equipment.
