Job summary

Mattr is seeking Production Operators to support our Rockwall, TX manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Operator will be responsible for safely operating production machinery and using tools on the production floor.

*This position will require a preemployment physical fitness as well as a drug and alcohol test Schedule: This role requires availability to work on a rotational shift on a monthly basis.

Qualifications

• 1 year previous manufacturing experience (preferred).
• Able to work a rotational shift as required for business purposes.
• Basic computer skills.
• Comfortable working in a plant environment.
• Knowledge and prior experience of power tools.
• Able to work at heights and confined spaces when required.
• Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting up to 20-50 lbs., bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Good work ethic and attitude with good mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to meet pre-employment testing requirements (drug/alcohol, physical fitness, audiogram, vision).
• Strong safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and shut down manufacturing equipment.
• Monitor product quality and respond appropriately.
• Record manufacturing data using databases and reporting systems.
• Operate safely following CS Safety program and policies.
• Verify raw materials before and during the process.
• Operate forklifts, manufacturing equipment, hand tools and power tools.
• Perform operator preventative maintenance.
• Support and mentor other Operators.
• Understand procedures, processes, equipment and product.
• Report problems to Lead Operator and accept guidance.
