Job summary

MAPEI Corporation in Chicago's West area is seeking a Production Operator Pre-Weigher to accurately prepare ingredients, maintain safety, and support efficient production workflows in the facility.

The role requires hands-on manufacturing experience, the ability to lift up to 100 lbs with assistance, and flexibility for shifts and overtime. This position offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Hands-on work willingness and mechanical inclination.
• Manufacturing/process experience; forklift certification is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently; up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Able to stand for extended periods; overtime/shift flexibility required.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and prepare ingredients as per production schedules and instructions.
• Accurately measure and handle ingredients following safety and quality standards.
• Use scales, pumps, hand scoops, and containers for precise measurements.
• Transfer raw materials or finished products within the facility.
• Prepare packaging, label containers, and palletize products.
• Keep accurate records in written and electronic formats.
• Operate warehouse equipment including lift trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts as needed.
• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean workspace.
• Perform additional duties as required.
