Job summary

Gerber Products Company, now part of the Nestlé Nutrition family, is seeking a Production Operator to rotate responsibilities within the department, operate and troubleshoot machinery, and help maintain sterility and quality in production.

The role requires basic computer skills, a high school diploma or GED, and 3+ years in manufacturing. Nestlé Continuous Excellence and safety are emphasized in daily duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a production or machine operator.
• Minimal computer or other technical knowledge required to be successful.
• Performs transactions and/or records information in a computer.

Responsibilities

• Maintain basic condition of equipment through Cleaning, Inspection, & Lubrication activities.
• Operate machines, perform changeovers, clean-up, and assist in troubleshooting to ensure safe, quality production.
• Manage and dispose of department recyclables and garbage.
• Demonstrate ingenuity to solve unusual problems and protect sterility of the process and product.
• Coordinate work with interdepartmental personnel to maintain safety, quality, and production information.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management or team leaders.
