Job summary

Vibrantz Technologies in Quincy, IL, is seeking a Production Operator to support manufacturing operations by operating mixing and material-handling equipment, moving raw materials, and maintaining accurate production records. You will work in a team-based environment, follow safety procedures, keep work areas clean, and contribute to efficient workflows.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years in manufacturing, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Operate mixing equipment to support batch production following procedures.
  • Operate forklifts and move raw materials to support material flow.
  • Track and accurately record production information (material dosage, lot numbers, scrap, issues).
  • Support production, bagging, warehouse and shipping areas to maintain efficient workflows.
  • Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow safety procedures.

This role operates mixing and material-handling equipment, moves raw materials to support blending operations, and maintains accurate production records. The position contributes to efficient operations through material handling, production support, housekeeping, and adherence to established safety practices. Success in this role requires reliability, attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to changing operational needs.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate mixing equipment to support batch production and execute manufacturing activities in accordance with established operating procedures.Operate forklifts and move raw materials from warehouse storage to blending and production areas to support efficient material flow.Track and accurately record production information, including material dosage, lot numbers, scrap, and production issues.Support operational activities across production, bagging, warehouse, and shipping areas to maintain efficient workflows and meet production needs.Maintain clean and organized work areas, follow established safety procedures, and perform additional operational duties as needed.Required QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or GED.Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Ability to follow established production procedures and accurately maintain production records.Ability to support material handling and manufacturing activities in a team-based production environment.Preferred QualificationsBasic knowledge of general manufacturing safety practices.Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.Vibrantz is committed to protecting your privacy.
