embecta is seeking a Production Operator for our Holdrege site to help build insulin delivery syringes. You will gown up, set up and operate the relevant manufacturing equipment, and perform in-process quality checks.

You’ll document results, maintain traceability, and support safety and regulatory requirements in a 24/7 operation. Join a team that values accuracy, collaboration, and impact on patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience working with or fixing manufacturing equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail in reading and completing product quality checks and documentation.
• Comfortable using computers and basic software like Microsoft Office.
• Good communication skills and a team-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the relevant machines and equipment that mold, assemble and package insulin syringes.
• Regularly inspect products and perform in-process checks to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
• Complete inspection and quality documentation as part of a regulated medical devices facility.
• Move raw material supplies and finished products to required locations in the facility.
• Monitor equipment output and troubleshoot issues, collaborating with the team to keep operations running safely.

Here’s what your typical day might look like:Gown up with the required PPE (personal protective equipment) and safety shoes.Start your shift by checking in with your team and reviewing the day’s goals.Depending on whether you work in Molding, Assembly, Packaging or Warehouse, you will set up and operate the relevant machines and equipment that mold, assemble and package our insulin syringes.Regularly throughout your shift, you will inspect the products and perform in-process checks to ensure products meet our high quality standards and regulatory requirements.Completing inspection and quality documentation is the norm in a highly regulated medical devices facility and will be a critical part of your roleAt times, you will move raw material supplies and finished products to the necessary locations in the facility.You will continually monitor the equipment for output and issues and help problem-solve efficiently and quickly should something go wrong.You will work as part of a highly engaged team to keep everything running smoothly and safely, with safety being your highest priority.Paperwork MattersIn this role, accurate paperwork is essential.
