Job summary

Tarkett seeks a manufacturing operator in New York who will work in the molding/finishing departments, following safety standards and quality controls. You will load/unload presses, inspect materials for defects, and transport materials between stations within a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Must comply with existing safety standards.
• Able to troubleshoot and complete 5S audit.
• Load/unload presses and support molding/finishing operations as needed.
• Inspect materials for defects and inconsistencies; transport materials to next station.

Responsibilities

• Stand for long hours during shift.
• Push objects up to 50 lbs.
• Adhere to strict safety and quality production standards.
• Reach, bend, lift, and push objects weighing 3–50 lbs continuously.
• Carry/transport material as part of the workflow.
• Support production in meeting weekly quotas.
• Demonstrate strong work ethic and adaptability to extreme temperatures.
