Job summary

Essity North America Inc. is seeking Production Operators for our Cherokee/Barton Alabama facility. You will operate a variety of machinery and mobile equipment, learn basic computer systems, and perform routine maintenance on equipment to support efficient production lines.

We value curiosity, innovation, and teamwork. Candidates should be able to work rotating shifts, including weekends, and pass all pre-employment screenings to join a safety-focused, diversified workforce.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts including weekends.
• Ability to analyze data.
• General mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work in a team-based environment.
• Ability to take direction and execute.
• Must pass written assessment, interview, pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate many different types of machinery.
• Operate lift trucks and other types of mobile equipment.
• Work with basic computer systems.
• Conduct basic maintenance on machinery.
