Job summary

Anteris Technologies in Australia is seeking a Production Operator II to join our manufacturing team in a contract capacity. You will perform general production activities in a cleanroom, handle tissue processing steps, and ensure quality standards are met.

You will work with a collaborative team, complete GMP training annually, maintain accurate records, and support audits while contributing to the delivery of our biomaterials for cardiac care.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general laboratory practices.
• Prior experience in small multi-disciplinary teams (desirable).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Administrative competencies and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in laboratory and cleanroom with PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general production activities pertaining to the manufacture of medical devices within a cleanroom area, including reagent treatment, media changes, tissue draping and crosslinking, cutting tissue to size, measuring tissue thickness, and cleaning of cut tissue.
• Assist with manufacture support duties such as cleaning down and passing in stock into the clean room, completing stock transfer forms, cleaning of equipment, coordinating waste removal, and packaging and labelling of final product.
• Attend and participate in departmental and organisational meetings as required.
• Assist with labeling and storage of material, cleaning of reusable items, and participation in internal and external audits as required.
• Complete GMP training annually and maintain training documentation.

Anteris Aus Operations is seeking a skilled Production Operator IIto join our high‑performing manufacturing team in aContract capacity. In this hands‑on role, you will be involved in the precise and disciplined production of our biological medical devices, ensuring each component meets the highest standards for quality, consistency, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Production Line

Carry out general production activities pertaining to the manufacture of medical devices within a cleanroom area, including:

• Reagent treatment of processed tissue
• Media changes of processed tissue
• Draping and crosslinking of tissue
• Cutting tissue to size
• Measuring cut tissue thickness
• Cleaning of cut tissue (removal of collagen fibres)

Assist with manufacture support duties as required, including

• Cleaning down and passing in of stock into the clean room and completing stock transfer forms.
• Cleaning of equipment.
• Coordination of waste removal.
• Packaging and labelling of final product.

Attend and participate in departmental and organisational meetings as required

Quality

• Assist with labelling and storage of material.
• Assist with cleaning of reusable items for manufacture using washer disinfector.
• Participate in internal and external audits as required.

Training

• Complete GMP training at least once annually.
• Complete all required training for assigned duties.
• Ensure all training documentation is maintained and updated.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general laboratory practices.
• Prior experience working in small multi-disciplinary teams (desirable).
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft computer software (e.g., MS Office).
• Sound communication and interpersonal skills.
• Administrative competencies and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in laboratory and cleanroom settings where PPE and special gowning requirements are required.

This is the national market pay scale.

Salary Range

$30.50 - $30.50 AUD
