Job summary

Opta Group is seeking a Production Operator I to perform blending and packaging of finished products at our Alabama facility. You will report to the Plant Manager and support daily production goals.

Responsibilities include weighing, loading materials, QA sampling, recording production data, and operating forklifts and loaders. The role requires teamwork and the ability to work independently in a safe environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience.
• Forklift experience.
• Wheel loader operating experience.
• Skid Steer loader operating experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Previous experience in production/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently.

Responsibilities

• Weigh, blend, and package materials.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished goods.
• Sample raw materials for quality assurance.
• Submit daily production records.
• Operate a forklift.
• Operate a wheel loader.
• Operate a skid steer loader.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Comply with all safety and operating procedures.
• Assist with maintenance of plant components and mobile equipment.
• Other duties, as assigned by Management.
