Zippertubing, a U.S. owned manufacturer in Chandler, AZ, is seeking a Production Worker I to assemble products by hand and support a quality-driven production team in a climate-controlled facility.

The role requires hand dexterity, willingness to learn, and a proficiency in industrial sewing; training provided. Candidates must have over 2 years of hands-on production experience and be eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of production hands-on experience.
  • Must read and understand drawings.
  • Experience with sewing in an industrial setting.
  • Criminal background check required.
  • US work authorization required.
  • English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble materials by hand with focus and hand-eye coordination.
  • Operate, tend, and stop a variety of equipment including industrial sewing machines.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment per procedures.
  • Ensure conformance to specifications and stop non-conforming parts.
  • Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
  • Work to applicable performance standards.
  • Take instructions from supervisors and the production manager.
  • Adapt to changing work tasks as needed.
  • Report equipment faults to supervisors.
