Job summary

EQT Corporation in West Virginia is seeking a Production Operator to safely coordinate the operation and maintenance of natural gas facilities, pipelines and appurtenances.

You will work with a team to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and timely execution of tasks while supporting continuous operations and documentation.

Candidates should have 1+ years of related experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and the ability to work outdoors and on-call.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a related field or industry.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to accurately complete all documentation.
• Ability to think analytically and solve moderately complex problems.
• Basic computer skills and effective application of software programs.
• Willingness to work in an outdoor environment.
• Able to work on-call and off shift rotation as dictated by schedule.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operation and maintenance activities for natural gas facilities and pipelines.
• Maintain a safe operating environment; follow all policies and procedures.
• Assist with planning and operation of well pad facilities and/or pipelines.
• Work with contractors, inspectors, and internal teams to meet safety, cost, and schedule requirements.
• Ensure all work complies with EQT standards and environmental regulations.
• Assist in development of project plans focusing on operations, schedule and costs.
• Complete 100% work in Maximo.
• Create and maintain project documentation during and after completion.

Here is how the Production Operator role will impact our business:

As a Production Operator, you will safely coordinate the operation and maintenance activities for natural gas related facilities, pipelines and associated appurtenances and equipment.

The Production Operator responsibilities include but arenot limited to:

• Maintains a safe operating environment; follows all applicable policies and procedures, proficient in natural gas related skills, knowledgeable of operational standards.
• May perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Takes lead role on assignments.
• Assists with planning and operation of well pad facilities and/or pipelines.
• Ability to work in conjunction with contractors, inspectors, and internal personnel to meet safety, cost, and schedule requirements.
• Assists others in ensuring that all work complies with EQT operational Standards and applicable Federal and environmental regulations.
• Assists in the development of project plans with emphasis on operational, schedule and costs. Work with EQT Land, Environmental, Procurement and Engineering teams.
• Complete 100% work in Maximo
• Works with others to create and maintain project specific documentation during and following completion of the job.

Required Experience and Skills:

• 1+ years of experience in a related field or industry
• High School Diploma or GED
• Able to contribute to a team environment
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to accurately complete all associated documentation
• Ability to think analytically and solve moderately complex problems
• Basic computer skills and effective application of software programs
• Ability to pass a physical capabilities test (which includes but is not limited to lifting and carrying 70 lbs., walking 1/2 mile at various inclines, etc.) necessary to demonstrate the physical ability to perform the essential functions of this job
• Willingness to work in an outdoor environment
• Able to work on-call and off shift rotation as dictated by schedule

This role is covered under PHMSA / FMCSA regulations.

Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
