Job summary

IFF is a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences. The Production Operator role involves controlling or operating machinery on the production line, packaging and filtering finished goods, and assisting with chemical blending.

This position is for the second shift (3:30pm-11:50pm, Monday-Friday) in South Brunswick, NJ, requiring the ability to lift heavy loads, stand all day, and adhere to GMPs and safety protocols while working with SAP, Camelot and Marco

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Able to wear respirator.
• Able to operate forklift and other equipment.
• Able to be exposed to heavy machinery and electrical currents.
• Stand for 8 hours per day.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Basic math, reading and computer skills.
• Experience with SAP, Camelot and Marco.
• Ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line.
• Package and filter finished goods; replenish raw material inventory as necessary.
• Perform chemical blending in Production including manual dispensing of flavor chemicals.
• Work second shift 3:30pm-11:50pm, Monday-Friday in South Brunswick.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards; adhere to GMPs.

We have a great oppportunity in USA where you will control or operate machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line. May be expected to handle heavy machinery. As a Production Operator you will package and filter finished goods and replenish raw material inventory as necessary. Operator will also be responsible for chemical blending in Production including manual dispensing of all flavor chemicals and combining with automatically dispensed materials. This position is for second shift 3:30pm-11:50pm Monday-Friday and is located in South Brunswick.

Key Responsibilities

• Compound as required by production demand by following shop floor precisely as instructed to do so by shop floor papers.
• Responsible for safe operation of forklift and all material handling equipment within the work area.
• Maintain a safe working environment, utilize appropriate safety equipment and proactively improve the safety culture of the department.
• Maintain processing area and equipment in a clean, sanitary and presentable condition; adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and exemplary housekeeping standards.
• Ability and willingness to work as part of a team to solve problems, develop procedures, and recommend improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned , Including other departments as needed.
