Winchester Ammunition in Knox, IN is hiring a Production Operator to support assembly and packaging lines in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

You will operate, troubleshoot, and adjust equipment, load materials, use a forklift, and perform quality checks while adhering to safety protocols. The role offers afternoon or midnight shifts with a $1.25/hour differential and opportunities for pay increases after 90 and 180 days based on performance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior related production line experience preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift preferred.
• Advanced mechanical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills preferred.
• Must be multi-tasking, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and within a team environment.
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods, climb ladders, work at heights, in weather elements and extreme temperatures, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work other shifts and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operates, troubleshoots, and performs machine adjustments.
• Loads cardboard boxes into production equipment.
• Transports palletized materials using a forklift.
• Performs quality checks.
• Adheres to all safety requirements, including lockout/tagout and wearing required PPE.
• Operates Cast or Paint Machine (if required).
• Replaces machine tooling, cylinders, and actuators as needed.
• Ensures raw material reservoirs are maintained.
