Job summary

Gerresheimer is hiring an Operator - Production in Peachtree City, GA. This full-time role focuses on operating and monitoring manufacturing lines to produce assemblies or finished products that meet strict specifications.

You will perform start-ups, changeovers, inline inspections, and MES data entry while maintaining clean work areas and supporting continuous improvement efforts. The ideal candidate has at least a 2-year apprenticeship or equivalent experience in machine and equipment

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge from at least a 2-year apprenticeship or equivalent in machine and equipment operation.
• Demonstrates a solid, structured way of working.
• Ability to operate and monitor production processes per specifications.

Responsibilities

• Start-up during order changes and ensure line clearance.
• Load production equipment with parts and change bins as specified.
• Take sample lots and visually inspect parts.
• Enter equipment status at production terminals per specs.
• Perform changeover procedures on production equipment as needed.
• Document production data, lot changes, and approvals in MES.
• Clean work areas, machines and handling equipment.
• Handle defective parts per supervisor instructions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in production processes.
• Support ongoing production per specifications and instructions.
