Job summary

Menasha Corporation and ORBIS Corporation, leaders in corrugated and plastic packaging, are seeking team members to prepare products for shipment and support a safe, efficient production environment. You will read guidelines, inspect components, and help ensure quality from start to finish.

This role emphasizes following product documents, assembling parts, performing quality checks, and contributing to CI and 5S initiatives. A collaborative, growth-oriented workplace awaits you.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow product guidelines, safety alerts, and quality documents; use first piece as a visual aid.
• Clean, trim and assemble components with hand tools; verify fit and function.
• Maintain a continuous production/packaging cycle to avoid buildup at the workstation.
• Ensure finished product quality meets standards and customer requirements.
• Train teammates and help other departments as needed.
• Support Continuous Improvement initiatives, 5S, and STW activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

About The Opportunity

Prepare product for shipment according to product guidelines and customer requirements, including cleaning, inspecting, assembling, decorating and stacking.

1. Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective and safety equipment required and following all safety guidelines.
2. Read and understand all product related documents such as the product guidelines, quality alerts, safety alerts, standard work documents, customer option sheets, and quality objectives along with the using first piece as a visual aid.
3. Clean, trim and assemble components using hand tools and perform fit, form and function as required.
4. Maintain a continuous repeat cycle of production/packaging to avoid the buildup of parts at the workstation.
5. Ensure quality of the finished product to ensure the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.
6. Train other employees and new hires and assist other departments as needed.
7. Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed).
8. Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities.
9. Other duties as assigned.
