Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a hands-on operator to assist in setting up and running corrugated box equipment to meet customer specifications in Lakeland, FL. You will follow safety rules, participate in housekeeping, and help ensure production targets are met.

Responsibilities include reading factory orders and print cards to determine proper equipment settings, installing dies and printing plates, and adjusting presses for correct pressures and alignment. A drug screen is required after offer.

Qualifications

• Must be able to assist in setup and operation of corrugated box equipment to meet customer specifications.
• Must understand and follow SAFETY RULES, HOUSEKEEPING guidelines, and training procedures.
• Able to read Factory Order & Print Card to determine proper equipment settings.
• Drug screening required after conditional job offer.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Operator and Assistant Operator in setup and operation of equipment.
• Read and follow safety procedures and housekeeping guidelines.
• Perform daily area cleanup and keep scrap picked up.
• Install dies, attachments, printing plates, set pull rolls, and adjust equipment.
• Ensure equipment is operating properly and meet customer specs.
