Job summary

Buffalo Tungsten seeks a Production Operator to support powder production. You will operate furnaces, work in the spray room, and handle manufacturing processes, records, and packing for shipment at our Buffalo Depew site in New York.

Starting pay ranges from $19.50 to $24.50 per hour based on experience. This role requires safety consciousness, ability to work independently and in a team, and fluency in English. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage and a 401(k) plan.

Schedule: Wednesday-Friday / Wednesday-Saturday Rotating Weeks, 7am – 7pm. Starting Pay: $19.50 – 24.50 based on experience.

About the role:

Buffalo Tungsten is seeking a Production Operator to support our powder production business. As a Production Operator, you will operate production furnaces, work in the spray room and conduct activities related to the manufacturing process such as operating machinery, keeping accurate records, operating a forklift, complete work orders and packing materials for shipment. Complete other duties as assigned by the Manufacturing Manager. This role will be based at our site in Buffalo (Depew), New York.

• Be able to stand or walk most of the day
• Regularly lift and handle up to 20 pounds throughout your shift
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds periodically over short distances

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Previous experience in production, manufacturing or other related fields is beneficial
