Job summary

Land O'Lakes, Inc. is hiring for a front-line production role within Purina Animal Nutrition. You will operate machinery and package final products, contributing to the quality and value of outputs for customers. This is a team-based position within a farmer-owned cooperative.

Shifts: 2nd shift 1pm–9:30pm, Monday–Friday with occasional Saturday work; overtime and holidays as needed. Great for hands-on learners aiming to grow in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1 year or more of work experience in any industry.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful.

Pay: $28.40/hr after 90 day NHTP

Pay: $28.40/hr after 90 day NHTP

Shift & Working Hours: 2nd Shift 1pm -9:30pm M-F + 2 Saturday's per mo Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed.

In this role, you will be a key member of our Land O’Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, performing front-line production processes that add value and quality to the inputs and creation of final high-quality products. You will gain skills and experience of taking raw materials to produce our final products for customers. This will include operating machinery and equipment, packaging the final product. This role is part of our Purina Animal Nutrition business who serves producers and animal owners throughout the United States. We innovate nutritional products and practices that unlock the full potential of every animal for a healthier, more productive life.

Preferred Experience

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
• Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present
