Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Bryan, Texas, is seeking a dedicated Production Associate 1 to join our manufacturing team. You will perform various production operations, ensure quality standards, and contribute to process efficiency on a 1st shift (7:00am-7:00pm, Mon-Sat).

The role involves operating equipment, fabricating parts, handling materials, and conducting quality checks while adhering to safety protocols. Manufacturing experience is preferred, and starting pay is $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proficient with basic hand tools and power equipment.
• Able to read and understand written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills including fractions and decimals.
• Experience with tape measure reading and precise measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and quality consciousness.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality; basic computer literacy.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to workplace safety.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and perform assembly operations according to established procedures.
• Fabricate and produce component parts for final product assembly.
• Handle materials, including loading, unloading, and proper storage.
• Utilize hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform quality checks and inspect products for defects.
• Read and interpret work orders, production schedules, and basic technical drawings.
• Make accurate measurements using precision tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
• Report any equipment issues or quality concerns to supervisors.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
