Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions in Geismar, LA is seeking a dedicated production worker to support manufacturing operations. The role requires adherence to safety specifications, meeting production standards, and keeping clean work areas.

You will report waste and participate in safeguarding quality across the line. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and experience in a manufacturing setting, with the ability to understand verbal and written instructions and lift up to 35 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with safety guidelines.
• Must understand verbal and written instructions and report issues.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand 8–12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Performs all assignments in accordance with safety specifications, instructions and requirements.
• Meets production standards on assignments within required time.
• Maintains clean, organized work areas in assigned space.
• Reports all production waste to Production Lead or Supervisor.
• Responsible for safety and quality throughout production.
• Notifies Production Lead or Supervisor when stepping off the line to maintain safety and quality.
• Performs other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training

• Troubleshoot problems and report issues
• Must work well in team environment
• Ability to be on feet up to 8-12 hours per shift
• Use of hands and fingers to perform job function
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend and climb
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs
