Job summary

LyondellBasell in Mansfield, TX is hiring a Production Operator to monitor and operate plant equipment, troubleshoot processes, and document parameters. You will work under supervision and may receive support from a process specialist and maintenance teams.

The role requires at least 6 months in production, a HS diploma or GED, ability to lift 55 lbs, work 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am), and willingness to pass pre-employment screening. SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months previous experience in production or manufacturing position.
• Must possess a High School Diploma or GED at time of application.
• Ability to stand on feet up to 12 hours and lift a minimum 55 lbs.
• Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions with PPE.
• Pre-employment screening including background check, physical, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and troubleshoot equipment during daily manufacturing.
• Perform changeovers and assemble/disassemble machinery.
• Follow safety requirements and LOTO procedures.
• Record production data and QC test results.
• Support maintenance tasks and equipment PMs where applicable.
