West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania, is seeking a Fixed-Term Production Operator for a 12-Hour Nights shift. This full-time, fixed-term role runs through June 2027 with benefits, paid training, and potential conversion based on performance and business needs.

You will gain hands-on experience in regulated manufacturing, operating and monitoring equipment, inspecting quality, following SOPs, and documenting production data in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• No minimum manufacturing experience is required; relevant preferred.
• At least 3 years of manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of GMPs or regulated manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate molding and trimming equipment to produce components.

THE SCHEDULE

This is a Fixed-Term position with a structured schedule designed to provide consistency and predictability.

Shift: 12-Hour Nights from 5:45PM - 6AM EST
Schedule: 2-2-3-2 schedule
Training: Approximately 12 weeks of paid training will be provided.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals, maintain workflow, and support overall operational performance.
• Learn and perform multiple production processes through hands‑on training, building valuable manufacturing skills and experience.

• The ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Previous experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) or a regulated manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.

Travel Requirements

5%: Up to 13 business days per year

Physical Requirements

Medium-Exerting up to 50lb/22kg of force occasionally and/or up to 20lbs/9kg of force frequently, and/or up to 10lbs/4kgs of force constantly to move objects.
