Job summary

Airgas USA, LLC in Anchorage, AK is hiring a Production Operator 1 to join our local operations. You will load and unload trucks, inspect cylinders, and assist with filling processes, contributing to safe and efficient gas delivery to hospitals, labs, and industry.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), the ability to work independently and with a team, forklift certification or willingness to train, and a commitment to a drug-free workplace.

Qualifications

  • Certifications: Prior forklift experience is a plus, but we are happy to provide complete certification and training.

Responsibilities

  • Properly pull and stage gas cylinders for filling.
  • Safely load and unload all assigned company vehicles on a daily basis.
  • Operate a forklift to maneuver materials throughout the facility safely.
  • Assist with the removal of full cylinders from the active fill area.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

You will be an integral part of our local operations team, loading and unloading the trucks that serve critical industries across Alaska—including hospitals, research facilities, semiconductor clients, and more! You’ll visually inspect, sort, and organize cylinders for filling, while actively promoting a culture of safety. Key Responsibilities
