Longwood Elastomers, a Wabtec Company, located in Wytheville, VA, seeks a detail-oriented Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate production equipment, follow procedures, move materials, and perform assembly tasks to ensure high-quality output.

You will conduct quality checks, record data, and collaborate with teammates to meet goals while maintaining a safe, organized workspace and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1 year of assembly experience in manufacturing preferred.
  • Proficient with tools and equipment for assembly operations.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to work in loud environments with fumes/airborne particles.
  • Able to work at various heights using ladders/scaffolds.
  • Attention to detail and safety compliance.
  • Basic math for counting/recording materials.
  • Able to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Adaptable in fast-paced production settings.
  • Willing to learn and contribute to process improvements.

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Production Operator to join our team in Wytheville, United States. As a key member of our manufacturing facility, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of our products.

Additional Information
