Job summary

Theuniversityunion is hiring for a full-time production quality associate in Victor, NY. You will monitor the production line, stop or reset equipment when issues arise, and ensure consistent quality and safe operation.

You will replenish supplies, adjust equipment as needed, and perform cleaning duties while keeping clear quality records and inspections up to date. This role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and a dedication to continuous improvement.

Description

Responsible for monitoring and conducting quality checks to ensure product is packed and customers are happy.

Job Requirements

• You closely monitor the line andstop or reset machines when malfunctions occur and clear machine jams.
• You replenish the supplies necessary to keep the line running in a timely manner to prevent downtime-this includes stocking conveyors or hoppers with containers, lids boxes or labels.
• You make adjustments to equipment during production to optimize efficiency.
• You perform various cleaning tasks as assigned.
• You maintain quality records accurately and conduct quality inspections consistently.

Requirements

TOOLKIT/SKILLS REQUIRED:

• You have high attention to detail and are able to catch the slightest errors or non-conformities.
• You have effective listening and troubleshooting skills.
• You can work quickly and efficiently while maintaining neatness, thoroughness, accuracy andfocus.
• You are physically able to grab, lift and move product and equipment.
