Job summary

Aurora Organic Dairy in Columbia, MO, seeks a Production Operator to handle equipment operation in a full-time role. The position requires adherence to GMP standards, multiple task handling, and reliable teamwork to ensure product quality and production efficiency.

The operator will manage CIP and filling lines, monitor carton supply, perform periodic quality checks, coordinate with lab and packing teams, and document all activities in compliance with safety and quality programs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate filling equipment and CIP processes for half gallon and gallon cartons.
• Maintain proper carton supply following production script.
• Perform dye checks and titrate sanitize tank hourly.
• Perform case packer and blow mold duties and palletize.
• Maintain constant communication with lab, processing and case packers.
• Milk receiving responsibilities.
• Complete all required documentation.

Purpose:

The operator is responsible for equipment operation while maintaining quality standards, adhering to recognized GMP standards and performing the required procedures to ensure the integrity of the product.

• All plant personnel have the responsibility to monitor and report any deviations from our Food Safety and Food Quality (HACCP & SQF) programs to your immediate supervisor.
• Monitor and report any deviation from the Food Safety & Food Quality program.
  • Responsible for operation/ CIP of half gallon & gallon filling equipment and protocols.
  • Maintain proper customer carton supply following script without interfering with production and efficiencies.
  • Perform Dye checks as well as Titrate Sanitize tank every hour.
  • Perform case packer and blow mold duties and will be required to palletize.
  • Maintain constant communication with lab, processing and case packers.
  • Milk receiving responsibilities.
  • Complete all required documentation.

Knowledge and Experience:
