Johns Manville is seeking a Production Operator 1 for the Macon, GA facility. Responsibilities include operating the winder, palletizer and unitizer on the ModBit line and performing related duties in an industrial setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, good communication skills, the ability to pass tests and a drug screen, and willingness to work overtime and in a non-temperature controlled environment.

Operation of lift truck. Maneuver rolls of commercial roofing materials. Perform preventive maintenance as required. Occasional use of hand tools. Multi-tasking. Comply with all plant handbook policies and regulations. Complete monthly safety requirements. Maintain a safe work environment while obeying all safety rules and regulations. General housekeeping/keeping your work area clean and clear of hazards. Work to maintain customer satisfaction to include strict compliance with quality standards. Comply with all environmental policies/commitments.
