Job summary

Sika is seeking a dynamic and results driven Production Operator to join our Building and Finishing Riverside Team in California. This position contributes significantly to the manufacturing process, specifically in producing Stucco, EIFS, Grouts, and similar products.

You will be responsible for setting up and operating production equipment, following instructions from supervisors, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Successful candidates will need to operate forklifts and perform daily inspections of machinery.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start-up/shut down, load and generally operate production equipment/machinery.
• Receive and follow instructions from Production Lead/Production Supervisor.
• Operate machines according to the operating procedures.
• Operate a forklift and palletizer.
• Lift the raw materials and place on top of blender grate.
• Clean the blenders and other machinery with a pressure washer.
• Keep work area tidy after each day’s work.
• Report any manufacturing incidents to the Lead Supervisor.
• Perform daily visual inspections of machinery and surrounding areas.
• Monitor control panels and make adjustments as needed.
