Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is hiring for a role within wafer fabrication support. The position involves manual operations on fabrication equipment, handling chemicals, and supporting process engineers.

Candidates should be prepared for 12-hour shifts in a cleanroom environment with proper gowning and safety procedures. Starting pay is based on experience and location, with a competitive rate and benefits package including health, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform manual operations on wafer fabrication equipment and work closely with the factory management team to prioritize job tasks.
• Handle chemicals, microscope inspections, run precision equipment, and process wafers to comply with specifications and other requirements.
• Attend shift pass-down meetings and communicate daily activities.
• Reads, comprehends, and follows required safety policies.
• Assist process engineers, depending on skill set, in performing experimental procedures.
• Update documentation on procedures on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities

Required Experience And Skills

• High School diploma or GED required
• Clean room, semiconductor manufacturing, or technical manufacturing experience a plus

• Solid fundamental Microsoft Excel and computer skills
• Ability to stand for 12-hour shifts and lift 10+ lbs
• Ability to complete tasks requiring careful handling while learning through on-the-job training
• Strong work ethics in terms of attendance, organization, and teamwork
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment, gowning up in coveralls, hoods, boots, safety glasses and gloves

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $16.78 - $28.51 per hour. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
