Lhoist North America is seeking a Utilities/Plant Operator to keep the plant running productively. The role involves scheduling to balance workloads, maintaining a clean and safe workplace, and promptly communicating hazards to management.
Responsibilities include operating front-end loaders, dozers, and other equipment, inspecting equipment, and ensuring safety policies are followed. Candidates should be able to work 12-hour shifts, including holidays, with strong teamwork and problem-solving

Performs a wide variety of duties in keeping the Plant and department(s) running productively through their daily routine. to include scheduling employees to equalize workloads and offering assistance in any work area. Employees in this position are responsible for keeping a clean and safe work place and letting management know promptly of an hazards that the encounter at the operation
Access all areas within a site which could include heights of 120 feet, confined spaces, and climbing ladders or stairs. Must be capable of performing the essential job duties required in this position. Will be working at times in office environment but mainly in a mining environment. The employee will be exposed to the following working conditions: Extreme Heat and Cold, Noise, Vibration, Oils, and Atmospheric Conditions such as Dust, Fumes, and Mineral Particles. The employee will be required to perform the following actions (from time to time): Standing, walking, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, talking, seeing, hearing and sitting. Ability to consistently lift over 50 pounds as needed.
