Job summary

Tarkett in Florence, Alabama is seeking a Production Team Member to join our manufacturing team. You will help deliver a quality product on time while upholding safety culture and using our WCM tools and methods.

Responsibilities include operating machinery, supporting 5S efforts, driving safety, maintaining clean facilities, operating forklift, labeling and moving materials, inspecting quality, and collaborating on improvement projects to boost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Understand the importance of working safely.
• Pass a fit-to-work physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Able to stand for long periods and work in a non-temperature controlled environment.
• Able to work a flexible schedule and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Production Team Member

LOCATION: Florence, Alabama

POSITION SUMMARY:

Tarkett is seeking a new Production Team Member to join their manufacturing team in Florence, Alabama. Promoting a safety culture and utilizing WCM tools and methodology , in this position you will work with others to deliver a quality product on time to Tarkett's customers.

ESSESNTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate equipment and machines that support production


• Maintain and support 5S initiatives throughout the facility


• Drive a safety culture by adhering to all safety rules, supporting safety initiatives, and communicating opportunities for improvement through near misses, and Kaizen


• Maintain cleanliness of operations, equipment and facility


• Operate forklift


• Correctly move and label material/product throughout the process


• Ensure a quality product is delivered to the customer by inspecting product throughout the process


• Package and label material/product accurately


• Perform repetitive tasks


• Notify supervisor of defective material, equipment, or tools that hinder the process


• Participate in projects and work with others to provide solutions to opportunities and drive improvement and efficient
