And under this roof, we protect what matters most.**Job Summary** The Production Operator at GAF is responsible for performing operations work required to manufacture shingle products while adhering to safety and quality standards. This role involves operating machinery, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, and training other operators to enhance team performance. The position emphasizes a commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement in production processes. **Essential Duties*** Perform operations work to manufacture shingle products.* Follow safety policies, procedures, and practices.* Operate equipment and machinery to meet product specifications.* Troubleshoot manufacturing problems as they arise.* Rotate jobs in assigned areas (Process or Packaging).* Train other operators to improve team performance.* Perform machine maintenance tasks as assigned.* Attend and contribute to Production meetings.* Make adjustments to machinery and report changes to oncoming operators.* Perform regular cleanup and housekeeping of the workstation.**Qualifications Required*** H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required* 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.* Basic reading and mathematics skills required.* Must pass drug test, physical, and background check.Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses.
