Job summary

USG is seeking a Quality Lab Tester to join our plant quality lab. You will perform various quality testing tasks in a factory environment, adhere to safety standards, and help monitor test trends. You will learn testing duties from instruction and self-study, and record data accurately.

Shifts are nights, 7pm to 7am, up to 56 hours a week. Hourly pay is $24, with potential adjustments based on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

  • Able to work in a manufacturing lab setting in a safe manner and follow all plant safety and housekeeping rules.
  • Ability to learn to operate and troubleshoot lab testing equipment.
  • Ability to interpret verbal and written work instructions.
  • Ability to apply basic computer skills required for data entry and reporting.
  • Possess ability to become proficient at performing tests and taking measurements as needed to verify product is within specifications.
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills needed with all co-workers.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Hourly Pay: $24

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
